Make Me Aware of Your Presence Today, Lord

Prayer Tuesday

Lord,

Breathe the fresh energy of your life into my heart, mind, body, and soul. Shape your thoughts in me and shine the light of understanding in the concerns that prompt me to pray.

Let your truth sink into my ears and show me your ways. Beside, before, and within, make me aware of your presence throughout this day. Place your hand over my thoughts and guard them with your truth.

I place my hand in yours to live each moment of today. Keep my trust in you as I open my life to you. Make me receptive and sensitive to your Holy Spirit. Empower me to remain present with you in the midst of my work and activity.

Help me to see things from your perspective today. Protect me from the burden of worry, fear, resentment, or anger. Enable me to trust your purposes more than my perceptions.
