Prayer to Flourish in Work as Kids Return to School

Abba,
You are our daddy in heaven. Just as parents love and watch over children, you love us, Lord. But, even MORE than we can imagine! Bless the children, teachers, and staff who are returning to school this month. Bless the children’s work that is learning. Equip the teachers and staff with patience beyond measure as they teach and guide. Watch over the school buses and the drivers. Keep our children safe. Guide the parents to the new normal schedule of the Fall season. Grant us all the peace and serenity as we flourish in our work for this school year. For college students, we ask that they may safely arrive at their destination. For those who have newly enlisted to serve our country in the military life, guide their hands, hearts, and mouths to flourish in the branch of service they are serving.
Lord, we pray for the young adults as well as adults who are embarking on a new job or career. May they grow closer to you with every step out of their comfort zones.
Fill the void of the hearts and minds of the parents who are experiencing an empty nest whether for the first or tenth time.
Encourage and Guide Us
Encourage each one who reads your Word to follow your command,
“be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Our prayer is that every person will seek you, Almighty Father with their whole heart, walk boldly in faith, and come to you with both the big and little requests. Your Word teaches us to pray, Lord!
Guide the hearts of those serving in ministry, Lord. Send more workers for the great harvest. Encourage each one that you go before us and you will never leave us!
Lord God, you are trustworthy and you know our needs before we speak them.
“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16 ESV
For all who are in need this month regarding their work, grant them the desires of their hearts, Lord.
