As one of the newest additions to our Strength to Thrive Conferences, workshops seem to be a growing favorite. With smaller interactive groups and an array of topics, workshops are a hands-on practical learning time for us all. Whether you want to grow in your prayer life or get crafty, there is a place for you. You will have two workshop times during they day so you don’t even have to choose just one! Check out the Workshops and Facilitators below – then register and pick your favorites.

Workshop Title: Flourishing in Celebration
Workshop Description: Celebrating what God has done in the past helps us to flourish in the present and step forward in faith toward the future God has planned for us. Throughout the Bible, God’s people remember he is Lord of all by celebrating with feasts (Leviticus 23), building altars (Genesis 8:20, 12:7, 26:24-25, and 35:3, 1 Chronicles 21:26, Judges 6:24), telling stories (Isaiah 63:7, Psalm 46:8 and 71:15-24, Luke 8:39), and even stacking stones to mark significant sites (Joshua 4). We ought to do the same. Participants will craft their own rocks of remembrance as a tangible reminder of what God has done in their lives so they might be equipped with powerful memories for themselves and prepared to share with others how God has changed their lives.

Workshop Title: Flourishing in Your Marriage
Workshop Description: Forgive. It is a command, just do it. Don’t overthink it because it is not just required, it is expected. Forgive? How in the world do you bend your heart to offer the last of yourself to someone who has wounded you? What does that even look like? Forgive! Oh, the joy that comes with the freedom of forgiveness. It is every Christian’s super power.
